Where do I go to complete the
PCI Compliancy Questionnaire?

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP THAT YOU MUST DO, or you will be charged $29.95 per month until you successfully complete it.

Once your merchant account comes live, within 60 days from the date your merchant account came live, you will need to successfully complete the PCI Compliancy Questionnaire.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Compliance is important so please remember to complete the PCI validation process by using the PCI program at cardconnect.com/activate.

After you have registered your account, instructions to complete the PCI program will be provided.

Have your Merchant Number ready to easily connect to your account.

Continuing your merchant account with us or use of your merchant account after 30 days will represent your acceptance to these terms.

Steps to complete the required PCI Compliancy Questionnaire with Trustwave

You should have received a request to register for CardPointe (through CardConnect (processor)) where you will get your online merchant statements. This email is sent to the signer on the merchant applications email address.

If that is NOT you, then please contact our offices and request to be added onto the file and provide your name, title and email address.

Step 1:

Once you receive the email to register for CardPointe, then please do so. You will create your password. You will need to remember – keep the user name and password you use for accessing CardPointe as you will need this to complete the PCI Compliancy Questionnaire.

Log into CardPointe

Step 3:

Click on the “My Account” tab

Step 4:

Click “Learn how to get compliant” link in the first sentence you see.
This will take you to https://pci.cardpointe.com/portal-core/home

Step 5:

Type in your User Name and Password that you just created for CardPointe.

Step 6:

Complete the PCI Compliancy questionnaire. Once you have successfully completed the questionnaire it will tell you and provide you the ability to download the PCI Compliant Certificate. Do so for your records.

An electronic notification will be sent to CardConnect and they wills top charing you the $29.95 per month for non-pci compliancy, as you are now compliant. This is NOT retroactive, so do this as soon as possible when your account first comes live.

This is an ANNUAL Requirement, even if you only accept SNAP cards.

If you need help completing this required questionnaire, please call Customer Support 1-800-363-1621. You will need to have your merchant number.

MerchantSource staff are not allowed to help complete this questionnaire. We have included some of our recommendations as to how to answer questions that will help make sure you have picked the right processing method FD410DW wireless POS terminal or the Clover Mobile device.

When you sign in to complete the PCI compliancy questionnaire you need to select the processing method of Tablet/Mobile (the center button).

Then it will ask you a few more questions and will ask you to pick your equipment you will need to click the drop down arrow and select FD410DW terminal or the Clover Mobile/Clover Flex. This will then take you onto further questions. You will have to answer the questions, but this may help you answer them:

  • Your terminal IS PCI compliant.
  • Your terminal DOES require a password that YES CardConnect knows that password.
  • Your terminal uses wireless network to access and process transactions.

There are several questions – it will also ask you if you have a security policy or if you would like to download First Data’s / CardConnect security policy and you can say yes to download that if you wish.

You don’t store transactions in the terminal.

You may want to allow 30 minutes to complete the survey.

Once you successfully complete the PCI compliancy questionnaire – the screen will tell you that you were Successful and generate a PCI Compliancy Certificate. Make sure to download your copy and save to your computer.
